Papakura Music School
Papakura Music School is a not for profit music school that is run by the parents as an incorporated society. We rely on your involvement as a parent to keep the school running. Classes are held Saturday mornings between 8 and 12 at Mansell Senior School, 50 Settlement Road, Papakura.
Instrument Hire
A limited number of Flutes, Clarinets, Trumpets, Violins, Cellos and Trombones are available for hire to students at $80 per year.
Saxophone and French Horn hire is $160 per year.
Instruments are usually hired for the first year of tuition only and must be returned at the end of the school year. We will prioritise hire to first year students where necessary.
Chanters are available for purchase or hire through the Papakura Pipe Band.
Guitar, drum, keyboard, ukulele and recorder students need to purchase or obtain their own instruments.
Students who use a music stand are required to bring their own. A limited supply of quality music stands are available to be purchased from the Music School.
